I am doing a Paper Mate commercial, in these commercials the audience usually sees people's hand drawing with pens. That glide like melted butter on the paper.
- The props they tend to use in the commercials would be pens self-writing and sometimes humans drawing. Also, another prop they use would be a cat.
- The scores through the commercials are fast-paced sounds that are meant to make the audience feel how smooth the pens write. Also of how fast it writes because of its smoothness.
- The appearance is usually a colorful assortment of different colored pens smoothly and in a fast pace drawing. A beautiful drawing with ink joy in the middle.
- Conventions and codes in Paper Mate pens include 2 hearts and with an added "share the love and make a difference" slogan. This slogan sparks the media of sharing with people, helping people out whenever they are in need.
- In the commercials, the props are always angled to show the paper mate or ink joy on the pen to let the audience know it's a paper mate commercial. Because of the lighting, it helps to show the logo.
- The commercial can sometimes include pathos- showing a loving message of sharing and multiple people of all colors drawing together. Another way they show pathos is by putting a cute cat in their videos.
- The commercials are usually lighted very bright making everything in the frame visible. Showing the true bright color of the pens.
- The commercials give off a happy feeling because of the bright lighting and the beautiful arrangement of colors. Also, the nice music playing in the background to set the mood.
- The commercials tend to be persuasive because of the quality of the pen or product. That lasts longer than competing brands.
