How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues? My commercial represents social issues by using a song that talks about the black community being kept down and how they have to keep getting back up and fight for their rights. The product of my music video is amazing showing everything that I wrote on my storyboard. My music video lets people know the struggle black people in America have gone through. Also, the growth that is coming to move on and making a difference. My music video also influences people to make a change a recognize the pattern that has gone on for 100s of years.  Once all the films were aligned in order like they needed to be, I had to make sure the timing was right. This included both editing and speeding up the time. Some scene was not included in the film because it dragged out the time. I first began by making sure that my area was comfortable and got a few snacks. To begin with, the first editing was done on my at-home laptop. After I got comfortable I started by cutting some of the scenes short. I also extended some scenes as well. By doing this it gave me the ideal time I was looking for. As per usual I made sure to mute any sounds that could be heard. Before adding the initial music for the video. I first cut down the first opening scene by a couple seconds. When I was editing I did have some technical issues with the wifi going out. So I had to wait a few minutes before trying again to finish my editing process. On Wednesday, December second I began filming or my version of the "freedom" song by Beyonce. In my filming blog, I started by going into my right location. Which is my first location pick in my hallway. By choosing the hallway to film my music video it added the right amount of darkness. With the flash on my device, I am filming on added the right amount of light. The first scene II began by starting to zooming in to a star shining bright. The star has an influential meaning showing the light at the end of the tunnel. As a director, I brought all the props. I made sure to direct the specific scenes and angles that went along with it.
