Filming Blog:Thanksgiving

 In the United States, there is a national holiday called "Thanksgiving" and with it being a national holiday I had time off from school. It began as a day of giving thanks and sacrifice for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated on various dates in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Liberia. This year we were not a traditional with the meals, I made lobster tails they were delicious. The traditional meal for thanksgiving would be a turkey. Lobster's soft flesh, once cooked, should be pristine white, soft, and tender. You should be able to eat it with a fork, from the shell. The flavor and texture of the lobster tail are somewhere between crab and shrimp and more on the mild side. Lobster's flavor is uniquely mild, with all the richness in texture. So I used my time off to regroup and take some time for myself. Which in doing so I completely forgot or took the time or myself. So I was enjoying my time with my family because it was thanksgiving and we made some amazing food. We feasted and just enjoyed time with family and caught up. It was kinda hard trying to communicate with family due to covid. But with zoom, we were able to make it happen. This year's Thanksgiving was "different" but it was enjoyable and I was able to relax. Not only that but during this thanksgiving I was able to watch a traditional Christmas movie with my family"Home Alone".Home alone is a fantastic movie that takes you on a journey the whole movie. But moving forward I will be planning on filming very soon. I will be filming on the second of December for my music video. For my video, I will be sticking to my original concept and location of shooting it in my hallway. Doing this will be giving the video a dark theme. This will be the ideal theme that i will be trying to attempt for my music video.

My partner had senior pictures today. So we weren't able to do work on our project/ start filming. So instead of wasting time I worked further on our schedule. Our go date on filming is next week, where we will be starting the filming process. I also have worked out the electronics we will be using for the film. The photos for our social media's will be posted once we start filming. I particularly want this to happen to give the social media's a more authentic feel. Spring break Blog

 So currently in the United States, this is our last day for school. From now until the end of March we will be on spring break. This is extremely well needed with all the different classes having to be kept up with and the work. This spring break will be the break every high schooler or anyone in school has needed since the time school started. I am very excited to take a break and focus on my mental health. It is very important to get back in tune with your mental self that a lot of people seem to forget about. When it comes to school, grades, and work overall. So spring break will give us this time to check in with ourselves. Also, spring break gives us time to let loose and not have to worry about anything. Which is very well needed as well when the only thing you're focused on is a bunch of test coming up and projects. Preparation blog

In today's blog, I will be about the next steps in my task. My first in this will be to do more research on editing which is what I am currently doing. " Editing is the process of selecting and preparing written, photographic, visual, audible, or cinematic material used by a person or an entity to convey a message or information." My main concern as of now is the editing software. Luckily I have the internet that shows over 20 reliable and reputable software to search from either for android or I phone.
