Planning for my Music Video

  1.  To start planning for my music video I prior picked a song that I was going to do. The song that I picked was "Freedom" by Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar. It is a very influential song to me and many others. 
  2. I picked the attire I wanted the characters to play in my video. The clothing is a big part of the video showing the weariness and how much time has passed. Also represents the passed ancestors that have gone through the same thing we are today. (kinda)
  3. My schedule for this week and weeks to come will be : 
On 11/16/2020 do the research portion for my music video.

On 11/17/2020 establish the schedule, attire, props location, song title, and a backup plan for my video.

On 11/20/2020 create my storyboard for my music video.

On 12/3/2020 film for my music video.

On 12/5/2020 edit and final touches for my music video.

4. Location list 

My main location for this music video will be in the hallway to showcase the shadows and adding some faint lighting like the original music video. Also by using this location it is far away from loud noises and will not be a distraction for my video. By using this location it will really be true to the original music video with it being dark and eventually adding a big spotlight on the one sing the song. In the original song that would be Beyonce.

My 2nd  location will be the living room by doing so there will be a lot of light but I can add shadow or a bit of darkness by closing the curtains. Also, the natural bright lighting will allow the video to be bold in the way the original video is on it becoming brighter when speaking or singing on the message. This location will work for me as well but I will have to make time to get the living room alone a have it be bright for my video.

Backup plan 

If there is anything wrong with the hallway then I will have to result in using the living room for my location. Doing so gives me another chance and not giving up on the music video due to any circumstances.

My partner had senior pictures today. So we weren't able to do work on our project/ start filming. So instead of wasting time I worked further on our schedule. Our go date on filming is next week, where we will be starting the filming process. I also have worked out the electronics we will be using for the film. Spring break Blog

 So currently in the United States, this is our last day for school. From now until the end of March we will be on spring break. This is extremely well needed with all the different classes having to be kept up with and the work. This spring break will be the break every high schooler or anyone in school has needed since the time school started. I am very excited to take a break and focus on my mental health. It is very important to get back in tune with your mental self that a lot of people seem to forget about. When it comes to school, grades, and work overall. So spring break will give us this time to check in with ourselves. Also, spring break gives us time to let loose and not have to worry about anything. Preparation blog

In today's blog, I will be about the next steps in my task. My first in this will be to do more research on editing which is what I am currently doing. " Editing is the process of selecting and preparing written, photographic, visual, audible, or cinematic material used by a person or an entity to convey a message or information."
