Filming Blog: Music video

On Wednesday, December second I began filming or my version of the "freedom" song by Beyonce. In my filming blog, I started by going into my right location. Which is my first location pick in my hallway. By choosing the hallway to film my music video it added the right amount of darkness. With the flash on my device, I am filming on added the right amount of light. The first scene II began by starting to zooming in to a star shining bright. The star has an influential meaning showing the light at the end of the tunnel. As a director, I brought all the props. I made sure to direct the specific scenes and angles that went along with it. I made sure to direct the specific scenes and angles that went along with it. For this scene, I started by placing my props in the right places to film. After that, I began shooting getting close to the props as I planned. In the next scene, I recorded one of my props being zoomed into eye level. To showcase them singing and being the main person in the film. It does this by having everyone sitting down and placed watching the main person singing. Also, it shows their importance with the camera zooming into them. In the next shot, I filmed my actress in different costumes to give the look of different people. Also, I had my actress holding up different sons, fathers, and daughters, who have died from police shootings. As I was shooting I made sure I had the right lighting the entire time. If needed I adjusted as I went along filming. I reshoot many scenes that I felt need work.

My partner had senior pictures today. So we weren't able to do work on our project/ start filming. So instead of wasting time I worked further on our schedule. Our go date on filming is next week, where we will be starting the filming process. I also have worked out the electronics we will be using for the film. Spring break Blog

 So currently in the United States, this is our last day for school. From now until the end of March we will be on spring break. This is extremely well needed with all the different classes having to be kept up with and the work. This spring break will be the break every high schooler or anyone in school has needed since the time school started. I am very excited to take a break and focus on my mental health. It is very important to get back in tune with your mental self that a lot of people seem to forget about. When it comes to school, grades, and work overall. So spring break will give us this time to check in with ourselves. Also, spring break gives us time to let loose and not have to worry about anything. In today's blog, I will be about the next steps in my task. My first in this will be to do more research on editing which is what I am currently doing.
