Title research: Splice

 The titles that are displayed during the opening sequence would be the names of the main people who acted in the show. Also, people who did work in the show as far as directing, etc. as well as the name of the movie. The images that are prioritized in the opening scene would be the inside of a person's body. Showing veins that could be in a living body. The connotation that these images carry is dark. By them doing this it gives a feel of the movie is going to be scary. With it having to do with some sort of animal or mutant humans. The film establishes the level of a scare by the visuals that are being shown in the opening sequence. Of different parts of a body moving and seeing something grow inside of it. Which makes it feel that the movie may be about animals or mutant animals. The strategies that are used for it be ensured as a thriller. Would be the offputting music in the background as your going through clips inside of a body and an animal growing inside of it. It also attracts its target audience by the opening sequence being in a certain light that is very dark. So logistically speaking and metaphorically the tone of the movie is dark. Technology in this instance has been used effectively with them creating background music and different scary visuals. As well as lighting be dark to match the theme of the movie. Also, the use of their editing technique of it going by fast sometimes transitioning and slowing down not knowing what you are going to get. Another editing technique is their use of the thing growing transitioning into the different logos for the big publishing movie companies. Also, the different usage of showing the x-ray of animals adds another level of suspicion or scare. Due to them not just showing the animal as they normally look. Not just skill and bones.

My partner had senior pictures today. So we weren't able to do work on our project/ start filming. So instead of wasting time I worked further on our schedule. Our go date on filming is next week, where we will be starting the filming process. I also have worked out the electronics we will be using for the film. Spring break Blog

 So currently in the United States, this is our last day for school. From now until the end of March we will be on spring break. This is extremely well needed with all the different classes having to be kept up with and the work. This spring break will be the break every high schooler or anyone in school has needed since the time school started. I am very excited to take a break and focus on my mental health. It is very important to get back in tune with your mental self that a lot of people seem to forget about. When it comes to school, grades, and work overall. So spring break will give us this time to check in with ourselves. Also, spring break gives us time to let loose and not have to worry about anything. In today's blog, I will be about the next steps in my task. My first in this will be to do more research on editing which is what I am currently doing.
